sherry (wine)

bean curd sheets

pepper salt

Directions:
-
Blend minced meat
with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp MSG, 1 tbsp wine, 1 egg
and mix well.
-
Arrange every two bean curd
sheets opposite direction, brush the one end
with egg mixture. Wrap 1/3 minced meat on sheets
and roll up as long pieces, and cut slantwise
about 1 1/2 inches long, dip both side in flour
as meat roll.
Methods:
-
Half boil 6 cup
oil (300 oF) in the pan, throw meat
roll into and deep-fry till golden brown. Remove
and arrange in serving plate.

Garnish with lettuce.

Place pepper salt in the saucer
beside the plate for dipping.
Notes:
-
Minced meat is fried till golden
brown like the color of a plum. That is why it
is called " Plum meat".
-
Brush bean curd sheets with egg
mixture to fix the loose end to keep it from
spreading when frying.
-
Bean curd sheet is made from soy bean
which is full of protein.
