Baked Beef Recipe
The Food Processing's and Preserved Recipes

 

 

 

 


Ingredient:
 

1 1/3 lb
1 piece
2
1 tbsp
3 slices
1/4 tsp
2 tbsp
6 tbsp
 

beef (lean)
old ginger
star aniseed
sugar
liquorice root
brown pepper
hot pepper oil
soy sauce

Methods:

  1. Clean beef, cut into pieces (about 2 3/8 inches wide and 1/16 inch thick). Place in a pan with 3 cup water, cook over low heat until 1/2 cup liquid remains.

  2. Add crushed ginger, 2 aniseeds, 1 tbsp sugar, 3 slices liquorices root, 1/4 tsp brown pepper, 2 tbsp hot pepper oil, and 6 tbsp soy sauce, again cook over low heat till liquid has evaporated.

  3. Place beef in over; roast at 350 0F till dry; serve hot.

 

Notes:

  1. Boil beef first without seasonings to make it tender.

  2. If you like you may add more brown pepper powder, to make it more spicy.
