Dried Red Dates with Vegetarian Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

1 tbsp

soy bean curd strip (bean chicken)
bamboo shoot
carrot
dried black mushrooms
string beans
sesame oil
soup stock
dried red dates
salt
MSG
white sugar
tomato ketchup
cornstarch

Directions:

  1. Peel bamboo shoot, then boil and cut into pieces.

  2. Cut carrot into flower shape.

  3. Slice strip soy bean curd cake.

  4. Soften dried black mushrooms in warm water.

  5. Blanch string beans and dice.

Methods:

  1. Heat 3 tbsp sesame oil in a pan, put strip soy bean curd cake into the pan and stir quickly, then add 2 cup soup stock, bamboo shoot, dried black mushroom, carrot and dried red dates, boil for 15 minutes, then season with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp MSG, 1/4 tsp  sugar, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, sprinkle 1 tbsp cornstarch paste over string beans add to mixture, bring to boil again and serve.

Notes: This is a vegetarian dish so the soup stock should be made from soy bean.
