Mushroom, Bamboo Shoot with Pickled Cabbage Recipe

dried black mushrooms
bamboo shoots
pickled cabbage
water
oil
salt
MSG
sugar
soy sauce
cornstarch
sesame oil
asparagus, coriander for garnishing the plate

Mushroom, Bamboo Shoot with Pickled Cabbage Recipe

Directions:

  1. Soak dried black mushrooms in warm water till soft. Remove stem, slice top slantwise.

  2. Cut bamboo shoot into irregular small pieces, then deep-fry in hot 425 oF oil till golden brown.

  3. Wash pickled cabbage with water.

Methods:

  1. Stir-fry mushrooms, bamboo shoot and pickled cabbage in 2 tbsp oil, then add 2 cup water, 1/2 salt, 1 tsp MSG, 1 tsp sugar to pan and cover it, simmer over low heat for 25 minutes, marinate with 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch paste and 1 tbsp sesame oil, stir evenly, then remove.

  2. Garnish with canned asparagus and coriander (parsley) and serve.
