Four Layer Coconut Cake Recipe

Ingredient:
 

1 1/3 lb
1 lb
1 lb

yeasted flour
flour
rough white sugar
eggs
corn powder
coconut meat
cherries
salted egg yolk
parsley
milk
lard
baking powder

Directions:

  1. Cook 5 tbsp corn powder with 1/2 cup boiled water, add 1/2 lb sugar, coconut meat and margarine mix evenly as stuffed coconut meat.

  2. Place flour in bowl, add 1/2 lb sugar, lard, 1 cup water, 1 tbsp baking powder.

  3. Chop cherries, boil egg yolk, and parsley.

Methods:

  1. Make 5 doughs in 5 layers of thin circles, stuffed coconut meat in the center of each layer.

  2. Pierce the upper layer many little holes with fork.

  3. Steam over high heat for 30 minutes, pierce with fork, if there is nothing attaching fork it cooked thoroughly.

  4. Put 3 egg white in egg-beater and beat till froth then wrap in cake sprikle chopped cherry, egg yolk steam again for 1 minute.

Notes:

  1. Mix baking powder with flour evenly in dough.

  2. Stuff coconut meat in every layer evenly to make it beautiful.

  3. Pierce with fork deeply and around side much in order to steam it easily and to keep it beautiful.
