Ingredient:

1 1/2 cup

cellophane or wax paper
cake flour
eggs
rough white sugar
vanilla extract
bottle fruit jam |

Directions:

Place cellophane in the steamer,
(cut the paper same size as steamer).

Sift flour.

Methods:

Beat 4 eggs in a bowl, add
vanilla extract, beat again, then add 1/2 cup
sugar at a time, beating thoroughly till frothy
(about 20 minutes using wire whisk).

Add flour to egg mixture a
little at a time, beat slowly until all flour is
used. Pour a thin layer of batter into
cellophane lined steamer. Steam over high heat
about 5 minutes, remove and peel off cellophane
paper, cool. Repeat procedure until all batter
is used.

Coat egg-cake with fruit jam,
roll up from outside to inside into a jelly roll
shape, see illustration.

Cut into pieces and serve.
