Stewed Dry Scallop with Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients:

Chinese cabbage
salted ham
dried black mushrooms
dry scallop
salt
MSG
Lard
scallions
small piece ginger
soup stock

Directions:

  1. Clean Chinese cabbage and cut into long sections (about 2 3/4 inches) then put into the bowl.

  2. Boil salted ham then shred.

  3. Soak dried black mushrooms soft, then shred.

  4. Clean scallop then steam with water for half and hour. Let it cool then shred.

Methods:

  1. Put scallop in the center of bowl, salted ham around it then shredded dried black mushrooms at the outside part. Marinate with 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 MSG, 1 tbsp lard, 2 scallions, and 1 small piece ginger. Add 4 cup soup stock. cover it and steamed for 1 hour.

  2. Remove ginger and scallion after steaming and serve.
