Stir-Fried Shrimp with Foo-Yung Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/3 lb
1 tsp
5
3 1/2 tbsp
1 tsp
1 tbsp
6 cup

shrimp
salt
egg whites
cornstarch
MSG
sherry (wine)
oil
parsley

Directions:

  1. Clean and shell shrimp, rinse and dry, add 1 tsp salt, 1/2 egg white, 3 tbsp cornstarch, stir and mix evenly.

  2. Combined seasoning: Mix 1 tsp MSG, and 1 tbsp wine evenly.

Methods:

  1. Heat 6 cup oil to 375 oF in pan, deep fry shrimp 30 seconds, remove.

  2. Beat 4 egg whites in clean bowl till frothy.

  3. Marinate shrimp and combined seasonings with 1 tbsp oil in the pan, then add 1/2 tbsp cornstarch paste, mix evenly.

Notes: Raw egg white beaten until frothy can be digested easily when cooked.
