Firepot Recipe
 Chinese New Year Cuisines

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

beef, wash & shredded
mutton, wash & shredded
pork, wash & minced
sour white cabbage
sea cucumber, soak & shredded
cockle, washed
fish fillet
mung bean vermicelli
cold bean curd
dried shrimps

Seasoning:
sesame paste
reddish bean cheese sauce
shrimp oil
sesame oil
chili oil
soy sauce
chopped spring onion
caraway
 


 

 

Preparation:

  1. Mix pork with salt, cornstarch and soy sauce. Form into balls and keep fry in warm oil for 10 minutes.

  2. Slice fish fillet and coat with batter. Deep fry over low heat for 5 minutes.

  3. Cut sour white cabbage into strips.

  4. Arrange ingredients in separate dishes.

Method:

  1. Bring a pot of water to the boil. Blanch ingredients until cooked. Serve.

  2. Serve with dipping sauce and sour white cabbage.
