Tsailai Rice Cake Recipe Traditional Chinese New Year

Ingredients:
10 oz
1 cup
1 1/2 cup
1/2 cup
2 tsp
Tsailai rice
sugar
water
flour
baking powder
Method:
Soak rice for
1/2 day and drain. Add sugar and water to puree
for 10 minutes. Remove content to a casserole
sieved in flour and baking powder. Mix well,
then pour into small greased bowls. Fill each
bowl to 4/5.
Transfer bowls into steaming
basket and steam for 25 minutes over high heat.
Cool and turn cake out. Ready to serve.
