Chicken with Yu-Zhu and Bamboo Leaf Green Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2

1/4 cup

Marinade:
1 tsp
1 tbsp

Seasoning:
1/4 tsp
1/4 cup
1/2 tsp
1/2 cup
 

chicken
dried black mushrooms
Yu-Zhu (radix polygonati officinalis)
ginger slices
bamboo leaf green
spring onion, cut into sections


caltrop starch
oil


granulated sugar
soy sauce
chicken powder
water

Method :

  1. Soak black mushroom and Yu-Zhu in water until tender respectively.

  2. Cut the chicken into pieces. Mix with marinade and marinate for 15 minutes. Deep fry in warm oil.

  3. Heat wok. Add 2 tbsp oil. Sauté ginger slices until fragrant. Add black mushrooms and Yu-Zhu. Stir fry for a while. Add chicken pieces and mix well. Sizzle wine. Then add seasoning.  Bring the ingredients to the boil. Transfer the ingredients to a casserole. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. Add spring onion. Cover with lid for a while. Then dish up and serve.
