Stuffed Pig's Stomach with Distiller's Grains Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup

pig's stomach
red dates, remove pits
lychee (can use canned lychee)
longan (can use canned longan)
shelled chestnuts (can use dried chestnuts)
white lotus seeds (cook in water for 10 minutes)
glutinous rice wine
stock

Method :

  1. Remove fat from the pig's stomach. Turn to the other side. Remove sticky substance with a knife. Rub with caltrop starch, salt and oil for several times. Wash and clean. Scald in boiling water. Then rinse in cold water. Drain.

  2. Stuff all the ingredients into the pig's stomach. Sew the stomach up. Put into a large bowl. Pour in 1 cup of stock. Add glutinous rice wine. Put into a steaming basket. Steam for about 3 hours.

  3. Remove the pig's stomach from the steaming basket and take out the stitches. Pour the ingredients in the pig's stomach into another bowl. Cut the pig's stomach into slices and place on the top of the ingredients. Pour stock on top. Serve.
