Steamed Glutinous Rice with Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

Seasoning for glutinous rice:
1 tsp

1/2 tsp
1 tbsp
1 1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
3 tbsp

Seasoning for meat:
1 tsp
1 1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
2 tsp
1 tbsp
1 tbsp
1/2 tsp
1/8 tsp
1 1/2 tbsp
2 tbsp
1 tsp
1 tbsp
 

glutinous rice, soaked overnight
chicken, cut into small pieces
pork, cut into slices
mushrooms, soaked, sliced
Chinese sausage, sliced
char siew, sliced


salt
sugar
monosodium glutamate
soy sauce
sesame oil
pepper
black soy sauce
lard/ oil


salt
sugar

soy sauce
oyster sauce
sesame oil
black soy sauce
pepper
corn flour
water
wine
oil
 

Method:

  1. Drain glutinous rice and steam for 45 minutes till cooked. Leave to cool. Add seasoning for glutinous rice and mix well. Divide into 10 portions.

  2. Season chicken, pork and mushrooms with the seasoning for meat for about 15 minutes.

  3. Prepare 10 small bowls, divide meat evenly on all the bowls. Add the mixed glutinous rice on top and press evenly. Steam over high heat for about 30 minutes. Serve hot.
