Dry Won Ton Noodles Recipe
 Kon Lo Min - Cantonese Style

 

 

 

 

This is the dry version of won ton min (won ton noodles soup). The ingredients and preparations in both varieties are the same. Only the way of serving is different. There is a special sauce for the dry version.
 

Ingredients:

Special sauce:
1 tbsp
2 tbsp
1 tbsp

Additional Garnish:
6


dark soy sauce
light soy sauce
sesame oil


dried mushrooms
 

Method:

  1. Mix special sauce ingredients thoroughly.

  2. Prepare dried mushrooms and slice finely.

  3. Place required amount of noodles and won tons on a place. Stir in special sauce evenly and garnish as desired.

  4. Serve with a bowl of the clear soup.

 


 

Note: Where won ton skin are not available, prepare as follows:

Ingredients:

225 g/8 oz
3
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp

wheat flour
eggs
salt
sugar
a little water

Method:

  1. Knead flour, eggs, salt and sugar together. Add a little water to get a smooth dough.

  2. Roll out a thin sheet and cut into squares of 8.7 cm/3 1/2 ins. Stack them with flour sprinkled between each piece to prevent sticking. Cover with a damp cloth until required.
