Mee Goreng Recipe
 Fried Spicy Noodles - Indian Style

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

225 g/ 8 oz
8 tbsp
6 tsp
6 tsp
3 tsp
6 tbsp
6
 

chye sim (greens)
cooking oil
tomato sauce
light soy sauce
vinegar
water
eggs

Method:

  1. Bland noodles and drain.

  2. Cut greens into lengths of 5 cm/ 2 ins.

  3. Heat oil. Over high fire, put in chye sim (greens), bean sprouts and noodles in that order. Stir-fry quickly.

  4. Add tomato sauce, light soy sauce, vinegar and water. Mix well.

  5. Crack in egg. scramble with spatula and mix into noodles.

  6. Add garnish as desired, except those for sprinkling.

  7. Add 1/2 ladleful gravy, 1 tbsp squid gravy and chilly sauce to taste. Stir-fry until noodles are dry. Remove to plate and sprinkle the rest of the garnishes.
