vegetables oil or margarine
garlic, chopped finely
Pinch of ginger
brown sugar
roll shrimp paste, dissolved in 2 tbsp water
scallions, both bulb and shoot, diced
sweet soy sauce
Method:
Cut chicken into
serving portions. Wash thoroughly. Rub
thoroughly with salt and pepper and let chicken
stand for about 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add chicken
followed by garlic. Fry chicken and garlic until
light brown.
Now add ginger and brown sugar
and stir. Add dissolved shrimp paste and again
stir well. Fry for about 2 minutes.
Mix in scallions and soy sauce,
cover mixture, lower heat and cook for about 30
minutes. Add a little water if necessary to
prevent drying. Serve.
