tamarind juice

vegetable oil
garlic, chopped
small onions, sliced thinly
rice flour
turmeric
pinch of cloves
pinch of cumin
pinch of ginger

Method:

Cut beef into
thin slices and rub thoroughly with tamarind
juice and salt.

Heat oil. Sauté meat and garlic
lightly. Now add onions and sauté until golden
brown.

Separately, mix rice flour with
turmeric, cloves, cumin, ginger and coriander.
Pour mixture over meat and mix well. Fry for
about 1 minute and then add mace, cinnamon stick
and coconut milk.

Cover and cook over low heat
until meat is almost dry. Serve.
