coconut milk from 1 coconut
medium onion, chopped finely
cloves garlic, chopped finely
candlenuts, grated
coriander
pinch of cumin
pinch of turmeric
piece lemon grass
sambal ulek
salt
eggs, beaten slightly
crab meat
lime leaf

Method:

Soften shrimp paste in coconut milk. Mix onion, garlic and
candlenuts in a deep bowl, and then stir these 3 with the shrimp
paste-coconut milk liquid.

Add coriander, cumin, turmeric, lemon grass, sambal ulek and
salt. Add slightly beaten eggs and crab meat.

Fashion crab patties and place in
aluminum foil, rolling
foil so that it is both air-tight and watertight.

Put patties in a double-boiler, cover and steam for about 1
hour. Add lime leaf. Serve warm.
