broiler or fryer
sweet soy sauce
tamarind juice
margarine
salt
red chilies, crushed |

Method:

Cut chicken into
4 parts and parboil for 10 minutes.

In a saucepan, heat soy sauce,
tamarind juice, margarine and salt over low
heat. Remove as soon as margarine melts. Next
add crushed chilies to mixture and mix well.

Marinate chicken in spicy mixture
for 15 minutes.

Broil over red-hot, smokeless
charcoal fire, basting frequently with mixture.
Serve hot from fire.
