Stew Beef Brisket with Fermented Red Wine Paste Recipe

Ingredients

2 tbsp
600 g
2 slices
4 springs
1 tsp

Stewing Ingredients:

1/2 tsp
2 tsp
1 tsp
1 tbsp
1 tsp
4 cups 

reddish residue of fermented grains
beef brisket
ginger
spring onion
grated garlic



salt
light soy sauce
dark soy sauce
wine
sugar
water

 

Method:

  1. Wash and blanch beef brisket in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove and rinse.

  2. Crush ginger. Trim off white part of spring onion and section.

  3. Stir fry ginger, spring onion, grated garlic and fermented red wine paste with 2 tbsp of oil until fragrant. Sizzle wine. Add beef brisket and stewing ingredients. Bring to the boil. Then stew over low heat 3 hours. Remove beef brisket and slice. Pour sauce from stewing over sliced beef brisket. Serve.
