Ingredients:

rump steak
corn flour
light soy sauce
dry sherry
sugar
broccoli
oil
spring onions (white parts only), sliced
chicken or beef stock
oyster sauce (optional) |

Directions:

Slice the beef
very thinly. Put in a dish with the corn flour,
soy sauce, sherry and sugar. Mix well and
marinade for 30 minutes.

Divide the
broccoli into small florets and stir-fry in the
oil for about 1 minutes. Add the spring onions
and fry briefly. Push to one side of the pan and
add the beef and marinade. Stir-fry on high heat
until the meat changes color, about 2 minutes.

Add the stock and
cook on high heat, stirring, for about 1 minute.
Stir in the oyster sauce, if used.

Serve with white
rice.
