Marmite Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

250 ml

Marinade:
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 tbsp

Sauce:
2 tbsp
1 tbsp
1 tbsp
1 tbsp

100 ml

oil for deep-frying
chicken thighs, about 500 g cut into pieces


light soy sauce
salt
pepper
corn flour


Marmite yeast extract
maltose
honey
light soy sauce
dash of pepper and chicken stock granules
water

 

Directions:

  1. Mix chicken with marinade and marinate for 1 hour. Deep-fry in hot oil for 2 minutes or until cooked. Dish and drain.

  2. Leave 1 tbsp oil in wok, pour in sauce and cook at medium heat until thick. Put in fried chicken and mix well. Dish up and serve.

Tips : Can use the same method to prepare "Marmite spare rips" or "Marmite prawns". Do not marinate prawns before frying.
