Spicy Hot Bean Curd with Minced Beef Recipe
Soya Beans & Bean Curd Recipes

 

 

 

 


Ingredients:

300 g
1
2 tbsp
1 1/2 tsp
2 tsp
1/2-1 tbsp
1-2 tsp
1 tbsp
500 g
3/4 cup
1 tbsp
 

topside mince
medium-sized onion, chopped
vegetable oil
finely chopped garlic
finely chopped ginger
Chinese hot bean paste
sugar
dark soy sauce
soft bean curd, cubed
chicken stock
corn flour
large lettuce leaves for serving

 

Directions:

  1. Stir-fry the minced beef and onion in the oil for 4 minutes.

  2. Add the garlic and ginger and fry briefly. Then add the bean paste, sugar and soy sauce and cook for about 1 1/2 minutes, stirring frequently.

  3. Add the bean curd and the combined stock and corn flour and cook gently, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Serve in lettuce cups.
