Spicy Asparagus with Prawn Recipe

Ingredients

400 g

Grounded spices:

asparagus, cut into 4 cm long
medium-size prawn, removed shell but keep tail, slit on the back
oil
salt or to taste
sugar


shallots
garlic
red chilies
dried prawn, soaked
cube belacan 

Method:

  1. Heat up oil in wok, sauté grounded spices till fragrant

  2. Add prawns and fry till the color changes to pink.

  3. Add asparagus, mix well, sprinkle 2-3 tbsp water onto the mixture and cover the wok. Cook for 1 minutes.

  4. Add salt and sugar, mix well and taste.

  5. Dish onto serving plate, serve hot with rice.


Tips: This dish is suitable for daily meals as well as entertaining friends. You can substitute asparagus with French bean, kangkung, sweet potato leaves or broccoli.
