Baked Prawns with Chopped Garlic in Vietnamese Style Recipe
 Microwave Cooking

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

500 g
3 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
1 tbsp
2 tbsp
1 tbsp
1 tbsp

Seasonings:
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/3 tsp
1 tbsp
1 tsp
 

medium prawns
chopped garlic
chopped shallot
grated ginger
diced red chili
chopped spring onion
butter
ketchup
Shaoxing wine


butter
sugar
superior broth
ketchup
corn flour
a dash of sesame oil
a pinch of pepper
 

Method:

  1. Devein prawns. Soak up excessive moisture. Stir in 1 tsp ginger juice and wine respectively, a pinch of pepper. Marinate for 5 minutes. Remove. Drain well. Stir in 1 tbsp corn flour for later use.

  2. Place prawns on the high rack, brush with oil.

  3. Bake them at "MW+GRILL" P/Level 70% for 6-8 minutes.

  4. Put butter in a platter. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 30 second -1 minute till butter melted. Add in chopped shallot, grated ginger and chopped garlic. Cover and microwave on HIGH (%) for 30 seconds.

  5. Remove. Add in prawns and  stir in wine and seasonings. Cover and microwave on HIGH (100%) for 30 seconds - 1 minutes.

Serve 3 persons
