Double-Boiled Beef Shank with Danggui and Shouwu Recipe Microwave Cooking
Ingredients:

Seasonings:
danggui (sliced)
shouwu
beef shank
ginger
a pinch of salt and pepper.
Method:
Rinse danggui and
shouwu. Drain well.
Rinse beef shank. Put it in
boiling water to microwave on HIGH (100%) for
1-2 minutes as scalding. Remove. Drain well.
Put beef shank, danggui, shouwu
and sliced ginger in a tureen. Pour in some
boiling water till 80 % full. Seal well.
Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 4-5 minutes. Turn
to SLOW COOK (LOW) to double-boil for 2 hours.
Add in seasonings. Dish up and serve.
