Double-Boiled Mutton with Beiqi and Dangshen Recipe
 Microwave Cooking

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

20 g
12 g
360 g
3 slices
1 piece

Seasonings:
1 1/2 tbsp

 

beiqi
dangshen
mutton
ginger
oriental radish (chopped in large pieces)


Shaoxing wine
a pinch of salt and pepper

Method:

  1. Rinse mutton. Remove skin. Chop. Put in boiling water together with oriental radish and sliced ginger. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 2-3 minutes in order to remove bad smell. Rinse in running water.

  2. Put mutton, oriental radish, beiqi, dangshen, sliced ginger and Shaoxing wine in a tureen. Pour in some boiling water till 80% full. Seal well. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 4-5 minutes. Then turn to SLOW COOK (LOW) to double-boil for 2 1/2 hours. Add in seasonings. Dish up and serve.
