Fried Squid with Smoked Ham and Honey Peas Recipe

Ingredients:

3 slices/ 60 g
240 g
240 g

Marinade:
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp


Sauce:
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
3 tbsp
1/2 tsp
 

 

bacon
honey peas
fresh squid
slices of ginger
hashed garlic
sectioned spring onion.


ginger garlic
wine
a dash of sesame oil
a pinch of pepper

salt
sugar
broth
corn flour
a dash of sesame oil
a pinch of pepper

Method:

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces.

  2. Tear tendons of honey peas, rinse for later use.

  3. Rinse squid, remove membrane, crisscross and cut into pieces. Blend in marinade, marinade for 10 minutes.

  4. Place a pot of boiling water in oven, microwave squid with HIGH (100%) for 1 minute, remove and drain.

  5. Pour 1 tbsp oil, bacon, sliced ginger, hashed garlic and honey peas into casserole and microwave at HIGH (100%) with cover for 1-2 minutes. Add in squid, sauce and sectioned spring onion, stir well, microwave on HIGH (70%) for 1-2 minutes till boiled. Dish up, serve hot.

Serve 2 persons
