Roasted Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

Marinade:
2 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
 

chicken (about 600 g)


Chu Hou bean paste;
Hoi Sin Sauce
Sugar
Chopped shallot
chopped garlic
grated ginger
Shaoxing wine

Method:

  1. Rinse chicken. Cut from the back. Flatten. Stir marinade well. Brush on chicken evenly. Scald chicken skin briefly. Pour on a little red vinegar and malt sugar. Marinate for 1 hour. Air dry for 1 hour.

  2. Place the chicken up side down on the low rack and brush with oil.

  3. Cook on COMBI (MW+GRILL) MED HIGH 70% for 11-15 minutes. Turn over at mid point, brush with oil.

  4. Brush with honey. Bake at COMBI (MW+GRILL) MED 50% for 5-8 minutes. Serve.

Serve 2 persons
