Stewed Vegetable with Lotus Recipe

Ingredients:

Seasonings:

Sauce:
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1 cup
1 1/2 tsp

 

broccoli
cauliflower
black mushrooms
Shanghai flat cabbage
baby corn
mushrooms
white cabbage
tomato


ginger juice
wine


light soy sauce
sugar
salt
broth
corn flour
a dash of sesame oil
a pinch of pepper
 

Method:

  1. Rinse broccoli and cauliflower, cut into bouquets, rinse again and drain for later use.

  2. Soak tender black mushrooms, remove stalks, rinse, add in a little ginger juice and wine.

  3. Add 1 tbsp oil and 1/2 tsp salt into a pot of water, then microwave on HIGH (100%) for 8-10 minutes. Add the vegetables, microwave on HIGH (100%) for 1 more minute, arrange on plate.

  4. Mix well 1 tbsp oil and sauce in a casserole, cover and microwave on MED HIGH (70%) for 1-2 minutes, then pour on vegetables. Cover and microwave on HIGH (100%) for 1 minute. Serve hot.

Serve 2 persons
