"Fa Cai Hao Shi" with Abalone Recipe

Ingredients
1 can
30 g
15 g

10 stalk
1 tbsp
1 tsp
1 tsp

Seasoning:
1 tbsp
2 tbsp
1/2 tsp
20 ml


Abalone
dried oyster
moss, soaked
few slices ginger
broccoli
Chinese wine
corn flour
oil


oyster
light sauce
sugar
water
dash of sesame oil
dash of pepper

Method:

  1. Soak the dried oyster thoroughly and clean them. Place them in a bowl and add the Chinese wine.

  2. Cut the abalone into thin slices and arrange them along the sides of a bowl and add the moss, ginger and seasoning in the centre of the bowl.

  3. Cover the bowl and steam on HIGH 3 minutes. Drain the sauce from the steamed mixture and set aside.

  4. Arrange the abalone nicely on a plate with the dried oyster, and place the moss in the middle.

  5. Put the broccoli in a bowl and cook 1 minute. Use the broccoli to decorate the dish on the side of the abalone.

  6. Add some oil and corn flour into the sauce and bring to boil on HIGH 2 minutes till it forms a thick gravy.

  7. To serve, pour the hot gravy over the dish.

Serves 4
