Ingredients:

chicken, cut into bite size

turmeric powder

medium onions, sliced
garlic
fresh ginger
piece ginger
lemon grass (serai)
piece galanggal
piece belacan
chili paste
coconut milk
daun limau purut
daun kunyit
brown sugar
lime juice
salt to taste

Method:
-
Wash chicken, pat dry with paper towel. Season with
salt and turmeric. Fry chicken lightly in hot oil and set aside.

With remaining oil in pan, fry onions till golden
brown, add paste, chili and chicken. Stir well, cover and let cook
for 5 to 7 minutes on medium heat.

Add coconut milk, daun limau purut, daun kunyit and
sugar and simmer until chicken is cooked.

Lastly add lime juice and remove from pan. Garnish
with fried onoins.
