Directions:
Soup : Heat a
frying pan until hot, add in 3 tbsp oil, and
stir-fry the garlic over a low fire until
slightly brown. Remove and add to meatball
mixture. Fry the (soup) bamboo shoots for
about 2 minutes, remove and set aside. Add in
2.31 liters water, 1/2 tsp sugar, 2 tsp salt and
2 tsp monosodium glutamate for the soup.
Meatballs:
Mix the pork and fish together, add the 1 tsp
monosodium glutamate, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp light
soy sauce and fried garlic, bamboo shoots, egg
and then the crab meat. Mix well and then form
into balls. Drop the meatballs in the boiling
soup.
Add the soup bamboo shoots to the
soup, simmer for 10 minutes, and serve in a
large soup bowl.
