Ingredients:

300 g

Pound to a paste:
2 cm
1 pip
1/2 tsp
1 stalk

brinjal, sliced
turmeric powder
dried prawns, washed and pounded
oil
small onions, sliced
chili paste
salt to taste
limau kasturi juice
roasted belacan
garlic
shredded daun kunyit
serai, sliced

Method:

Rub brinjal slices with turmeric powder.

Fry brinjal till crisp. Set aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add dried prawns, paste, chili and onions.
Add a litter water to moisten if necessary. When fragrant, add fried
brinjals and salt.

Stir well for 2 to 3 minutes, add lime juice and serve hot with
rice. Garnish with fried onions.
