Trotters with Vinegar

Ingredients

1
500 g
2 tbsp
2 cups
3 cups
250 g

pig's trotter
old ginger, skinned and smashed
sesame oil
Black vinegar
water
brown sugar

 

 

Method:

  1. Cut trotters into serving pieces. Heat sesame oil in a clay pot. Fry ginger until fragrant. Add vinegar, water and brown sugar. Bring to boil and leaves to simmer until ginger turns soft.

  2. Add trotters and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until tender and soft. Serve warm.
