Straits Chinese Coconut Milk Marinade for Barbecued Pork Recipe

Ingredients

FOR 1/2 KILOGRAM PORK

125 ml
2 tsp
1 tsp
21/2 tsp
3 tbsp


red chilies
candlenuts
large onions, sliced
stalks lemon grass, sliced thinly
coconut milk
sugar
shrimp paste
coriander seeds
oil
salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut pork into 2 cm cubes.

  2. Pound the chilies, candlenuts, onions, shrimp paste, coriander seeds, sugar and salt.

  3. Combine with oil and coconut milk. Marinade the meat and add in the lemon grass. Leave it for 2 hours. Barbecue or grill.
