Tamarind Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

450 g

500 ml
225 g
63 g
6 cloves
2 tbsp

tamarind, seedless
sugar
red chilies, ground
chili powder
vinegar
raisins
ginger, ground
garlic, ground
salt

Method:

  1. Grind all the chilies, garlic, ginger in vinegar.

  2. Squeeze the tamarind in vinegar and strain through a cheesecloth.

  3. Combine tamarind with sugar, salt, raisins, chili powder and ground ingredients. Boil until the syrup is thick.
