Pork or Chicken Satay Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 kg/ 1 lb

1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
2 tbsp
2 tbsp
3 tbsp
20

pork or boneless chicken
shallots (bawang merah), pounded
tumeric (kunyit) powder
cinnamon (kayu manis) powder
salt
sugar
oil
peanuts, roasted & ground
satay sticks or skewers

 

Method:

  1. Cut pork or chicken into small pieces, knead with the above ingredients, adding one at a time.

  2. Tread a few pieces of meat on the top half of each satay stick.

  3. Grill the meat and brushing with additional oil.

  4. Serve with satay sauce .
