285 ml/10 oz
1/4 tsp
1 tbsp

Meat filling:

1

all purpose flour
eggs, beaten
milk
salt
oil

minced pork
pinch of nutmeg
salt
dash of pepper

onion, chopped
green peas
oil
cornflour
water or milk
bread crumbs
egg, beaten

Method:

  1. To make pancakes, make a batter from the pancake ingredients and then fry in a small frying pan, over a low fire, into small, thin pancakes. Makes 20 pancakes.

  2. Meat filling: Over a high fire, heat a frying pan until very hot. Add in 2 tbsp oil, stir-fry the onion and then the spiced minced meat. Add in the green peas and the corn flour mixture. Fry until almost dry, set aside to cool. Place a little meat filling at one edge of a pancake, flap the short end and two sides over, and then roll the mixture the length of the pancake, exactly like a spring roll.

  3. Dip the pancake rolls in the beaten egg and then the bread crumbs. Deep fry.
