Chicken Vol-Au-Vent Recipe

 


Ingredients

250 g

1 tbsp
2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
2 tbsp
1

chicken breast, diced
carrot, diced
green peas
clove garlic, chopped finely
oil
soy sauce
oyster sauce
pepper
thickened cream
packet of frozen vol-au-vent cases

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and fry garlic till fragrant. Add chicken and vegetables and continue frying for another 3 minutes. Add seasoning. Bring down the heat and cream, stirring quickly. Remove from heat. Fill the vol-au-vent cases and serve immediately.

  2. To prepare vol-au-vent cases, place the frozen pastries on a cookie tray and bake in a medium oven till the cases rise.
