Prawn Fritters Recipe

 


Ingredients (A):

100 g
1
1/2 tsp
1 tbsp
60 ml

Seasoning:
1/2 tsp

medium-sized prawns, remove head and shell but keep tails intact
wheat flour
salted egg
baking powder
butter or margarine
hot water


chicken stock granules
dash of salt and pepper
A little corn flour

Method:

  1. Cut  a deep slit along back of prawns. Wash and pat dry with paper towels. Marinate prawns with seasoning.

  2. Combine all the other ingredients together and mix well to form a rather thick dough. Take a portion and wrap around each prawns. Deep-fry prawns in hot oil till crispy and golden. Dish up, drain and serve immediately with chili sauce.
