Cream of Mushroom Soup Recipe

 



Ingredients:

350 g
50 g
1

2 tbsp
550 ml
150 ml

100 ml
1 tbsp
 

 

fresh button mushrooms, thinly sliced
butter
onion, finely chopped
clove garlic, minced
plain flour
chicken stock soup
UHT milk
Dash of salt and pepper
whipping cream
chopped parsley


 

Method:

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan. Fry the onion, garlic and mushrooms until soft. Sprinkle flour over and stir briskly. Slowly pour in chicken stock, then milk, stirring continuously to blend. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Add salt and pepper and remove the saucepan from the heat.
