egg whites, beaten to a stiff froth with a pinch of
salt
fresh grated coconut mixed with 1/4 cup sugar, just
before serving
Method:
Sprinkle gelatine
on top of warm water and stir it dissolves. Put
aside.
Beat egg yolks and sugar
thoroughly and add chocolate mixture. Cook this
in double-boiler, stirring till mixture thickens
and coats the spoon. Cool, stir in dissolved
gelatine and then fold egg whites into the
mixture. Pour into 6 small moulds or one large
mould. Chill in refrigerator.
To serve, spread sugared grated
coconut on pudding plates and unmould chocolate
jelly on top.
