Lychees and Mandarin Ice Recipe

Ingredients:

625 (20 oz)
1 cup
2 cups
315 g (10 oz)
1 tbsp
1/4 cup
315 g (10 oz)
 

can lychees
sugar
water
can mandarin segments
Grand Marnier
lemon juice
can mandarin segments, extra

Method:

  1. Put sugar and water into pan, stir over low heat until sugar has dissolved. Bring to boil, boil uncovered for  three minutes, cool.

  2. Put one can of undrained mandarins in blender, blend one minute, push through sieve.

  3. Add mandarin juice, lemon juice and Grand Marnier to syrup, stir until combined. Pour into tray, put in freezer until set stirring occasionally. Chill lychees and extra mandarin segments, drain and reserve syrup of lychees. Put lychees and mandarin segments into serving dishes, spoon some of the reserved syrup over. Flake Mandarin Ice with fork, spoon on top of lychees.
