Ginger Mintade Recipe

 


Ingredients

1 tbsp
57.5 g/2 oz
150 ml/1/4 pint
150 ml/1/4 pint
2 tbsp
60 ml/2.5 fl oz
2.4 l/4 pints


grated lemon peel
chopped fresh mint
lemon juice
boiling water
sugar
orange juice
Gingerade or ginger ale
Crushed ice
Mint sprigs

Method:

  1. Combine lemon peel, chopped mint, lemon juice, water and sugar in a large pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let stand 1 hour. Add orange juice and Gingerade or ginger ale. Stir well. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprigs. Makes 2 liters /3 1/2 pints.
