Korea Ginger Tea Recipe

 


Ingredients

38.5 g/1 1/2 pints
1.2 liters/2 pints
175 g/ 6 oz
1/2 tsp
1 tbsp
1 1/2 tbsp
2

very thinly sliced fresh root ginger
water
sugar
ground cinnamon
nuts (pignoli)
chopped walnuts
pitted and coarsely chopped

Method:

  1. Combine root ginger and water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil; then reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add sugar and cinnamon; stir until sugar dissolved. Stain into cups; add some pine nuts, walnuts and dates to each serving. Makes 6 servings.
